The new quartet features fellow Canadian expat Lina Allemano on trumpet, German pianist and synthesizer specialist Julius Windisch, German drummer Christian Marien, and Van Huffel on both alto and baritone saxophones. Together these four musicians merge complex musical conception and thoroughly-developed composition with masterful free-form improvisation and tireless interplay.
